Adaptive reuse + new. We’re designing a low-impact tourist lodge in Tulum, Mexico, that will consist of bamboo pavilions, canvas-clad lodging, and a renovated restaurant. The new facilities will delicately integrate existing Chit palm trees on site, while rainwater collection, on-site waste water management, and solar power will mitigate the impact of tourism upon the landscape.
